Proulouge- Flamestorm padded down a long narrow path to his camp. He weaved among the cats who were sharing tounges while the leaf-bare night sky illuminated the woods. Somehow he knew one of the many stars of silverpelt had to have been Firestar, his ancient ancestor. Suddenly, Larkclaw meowed a greeting as she sat atop the cliff's overhang. The clan leader, EveningStar sat beside her licking her chest. When the cats attention had been gathered though, EveningStar stood up and strode gracefully to the edge of the overhang. The clan all mewed a loud greeting which was replied by a little nod of their leader, then they were silent. " Cats of StormClan!", Eveningstar yowled, " We gather today to honour the ancient cats of ThunderClan who now hunt in starclan watching over us all!". The whole clan screeched and meowed in reply. " Let All cats, even kits and elders, join to hear the stories of our ancient ancestors!", Eveningstar now stood at the very tip of her ledge, " Let them listen to the tales of the warriors before us!". Flamestorm stalked to his nest. He kneaded it with his white paws before curling up and drifting to sleep. He didn't sleep easily though, for the sun had nearly risen when Eveningstar finished her stories. The kits were too excited to sleep, the elders would likely sleep more than normal, but the warriors had morning border checks and hunting groups to fill the meal pile. It was nearly sunhigh and FlameStorm had gotten not even a wink of sleep, so he began pondering things about his ancestors. They used call meetings gatherings, meal piles, fresh kill piles. They use to call HindWalkers twolegs. The hindwalkers drove them out of their first camp but they didn't leave until Six strong warriors went on a journey to fufill a prochecy. One of them was said to be the kin of the ancient TigerStar. The name brought chills to his spine even though the ancient cat was not able to do any harm to him. He knew some of this had to be myths. There is no way starclan would make their cats leave the woods. Or that hindwalkers could have been that scary. With a yawn, he stood up from his nest and licked pieces of moss and grasses out of his pelt. He spent a bit cleaning himself so that his pelt was sleek and shiny. Then he padded out of the main den to where the cats were meowing anxiously.
DISCLAIMER- Ancients is like a warriors comic, but written instead. I take inspiration from the series therefore I do not claim credits over the idea of cats and the mentioning of other cats. Ancients is by me and is not copied.
