The Clavian Calendar is a modification of the Gregorian calendar The Clavian Calendar employs four-year cycles to determine the lengths of the three variable months (Feb, Jun, Oct) Apr, Aug, and Dec have 31 days each. Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sep, Nov have 30 days each. Feb, Jun, and Oct usually have 31 days, but depending on the year, they sometimes trim down to 30. (Mod 4 is division by 4 and finding the remainder) If Year mod 4 = 1, Feb is 30 days long. If Year mod 4 = 2, Jun is 30 days long. If Year mod 4 = 3, Oct is 30 days long. If Year mod 4 = 0, all of them are 31 days long unless its a century year. In that case, If Year mod 400 = 100, Feb is 30 days long. If Year mod 400 = 200, Jun is 30 days long. If Year mod 400 = 300, Oct is 30 days long. If Year mod 400 = 0, all of them are 31 days long. If a variable month has 30 days, any celebrations normally on the 31st are observed on the 30th for that year. The Clavian Calendar also starts and ends on the same days as the Gregorian calendar. 1 - 30 January and 1 November - 31 December always match on both calendars. In addition, as the calendars have identical mean years, they never drift apart.
@CyrilReal19 for the sprites - Click See Inside to see them I created the calendar. It's a modification of the Gregorian calendar. Why did I make it? To make month lengths more even and to make birthdays a bit fairer. My Clavian birthday is 2/31/11. If you have a birthday like me where it's the 31st of a variable month, in years where that month is 30 days long, celebrate on the 30th.
