I REALLY love this design, so I thought entering for it would be a great use of my time! Anyways, have some lore for them I came up with randomly! For the longest time, Borealis has been a highly respected guard in their kingdom's military force. They were enlisted into the military at age eight, as the previous king and queen had offered them shelter for service, since they were an orphan at the time. The others in the guard force saw them as weak because of their age and build. They were scrawny and young, but that didn't stop them. They trained relentlessly to prove themselves... and even when they were completely exhausted, they didn't stop. By age twelve, they were probably the strongest warrior in the guard force... and by age sixteen, the original royals were overthrown, and queen Rebecca took over. She, over the years, devolved into a reigning, terrible tyrant. By this time, they had sworn an oath to the god of the skies, and thus was granted great agility... and crystals. Crystals that sprouted right from their limbs. That isn't relevant to this part of the story, though. By age seventeen, Borealis had grown to despise Queen Rebecca, and thus, betrayed her. They completely destroyed one of her evil plans, and then ran off into the night, never to be seen again. They would later regroup with three others: Metro, Emery, and Crystal, to help overthrow the tyrant that rules their land, and discover their destinies as the cards of destiny. Card symbols they represent: Rebecca/Bex - Queen Crystal - Diamonds Emery - Hearts Metro - Clubs Borealis - Spades
