Little lore here for all you nerds, Chuboingo (the character)'s canonical wife- we'll call her Lumi for now, is part genie, and part nymph. As everyone knows, Genies are spirits that live inside lamps, and Nymphs are spiritual embodiments of nature, so you have things like tree nymphs, river nymphs, etc. You mix the two together, and you get a lamp spirit, which is what Lumi is. When Chuboingo's grandfather passed, he was left this strange lamp that had been sitting in his Grandpa's attic for decades. When Chuboingo picked it up, the lamp registered him as the new owner, allowing him to see Lumi. Lumi, as a lamp spirit/part genie/part nymph doesn't have the power to grant wishes, but instead imparts lumisource lamp energy unto the lamp's owner, granting them strength and power. Chuboingo doesn't really want either of those because he's an idiot who just wants dumb stuff like "happiness," and "to enjoy life," so he only uses his powers in extreme scenarios. Lumi was impressed by him because all of the past lamp owners through history were corrupted by the lamp's powers and turned like super evil and so they basically fell in love and got married and that's it. A little more info actually, the whole "lamp gives you powers" thing is meant to be a parody of the Green Lantern Corps, which I figure Fox will appreciate, the One Ring from LOTR, and the myth that rubbing a specific lamp will cause a genie to appear and grant you three wishes. Also, nobody but Chuboingo can see Lumi, so everyone just thinks he's a weirdo who got married to an inanimate object. “
