The Year is 1946, and the Second World War is over. One of the bloodiest conflicts in history has ended. The dust settles now with 3 superpowers emerging from the ash of the old order. In the east Japan has almost complete control of Asia spanning as North as the Kuril Islands to as South as Papua New Guinea. Spanning from as east as New Caledonia to as West as Burma. After the defeat of the Reich the Allies were tired of fighting as they suffered loss after loss in the Pacific even losing vital naval bases as midway. And with the Soviets gaining influence over half of Europe and their unwillingness to help fight the Japanese after the capitulation of Chinese resistance; as well as general mistrust between the old Allies. The fragile coalition began to fracture. In Africa calls for independence begin to spark inspired by Asia and the war of independence in India. The United States now acts a bulwark against Communism in Eastern Europe and the militarism of Japan in the Pacific. Britain has been bankrupted by the war and with the loss of their Asian holdings and India the writing seems to be on the wall for the British Empire to finally set. The Indian war of independence has lead to the country being fractured with the southern princes staying with the crown. The world is now under a Tri-Polar world France and Britain have fallen behind and Japan, the Soviets, and the Americans fight over influence all over the world. Will the dominance of the rising sun be established over all who oppose?, Will the Worldwide Worker’s Revolution finally be achieved? Will an new era of Pax Americana come to be? or will destroy the world itself in nuclear hellfire by the three superpowers. No one knows for sure but one thing is certain, the world will forever be altered...
(Reopening an old concept I had.) Inspired by TWR and Krasnacht Year: 1946 (2 Days is 1 year in rp.) Balance of Power for each superpower is all their stats multiplied by the percent of Stability one decimal down. For example If the stats of Japan add all together to about 38 and they have 20 stability the overall score would be 38 x 0.020 = 0.76. Certain actions committed in rp can change these scores and they will not stay permanent. Winning Proxy Conflicts will win you influence and small amount of military score. RP starting at September 4th Rules: I. Be respectful towards people II. No 1 sentence RP III. I decide outcomes (NO POWERPLAYING) IIII. No drama from out of RP bleeding into this one V. Nukes are allowed but you need to research them for about 1-4 Years and cost significant time and resources before you can get them. And they will destroy the world if too many are used. VI. Be realistic (You can’t) invade without valid cause or take over France as Andorra) VII.
