I used to sob everytime I saw the ending of tnm six </3 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tophat sighed softly as he leaned into GPS. GPS adjusted their position to make sure he was comfortable. They both were on the rooftop again, and they had been for a few hours now. The sun was quietly setting, causing a soft orange-gold glow over the whole rooftop, the light bouncing off the bricks behind them. They had just been hanging out, saying whatever was on their minds and some littered pieces of checkers from their game were littered on the concrete floor. They sat close next to each other now, a peaceful silence over them. "Tophat," GPS started, their usual slightly glitchy voice familiar to Tophat. Tophat glanced up at them, nodding (?) for them to continue. "I really enjoyed today, thanks for reaching out." GPS said with a small smile. Tophat returned the grin warmly. "Of course," He murmured. GPS exhaled quietly and glanced back at the sunset. They were both silent for a little while. "I /really/ missed hanging out with you." Tophat admitted out of the blue. GPS slightly scooted back so he could properly look at him, looking a bit solemn. "I know we were both busy, but I really just wanted.." He trailed off, flushing a little at how weird that must've sounded to GPS. "I just wanted to be with you," He reluctantly finished, fully blushing now. GPS looked slightly surprised, but they remained silent when Tophat got his bearings. "I mean that both ways, GP." He frantically added a few seconds later, and GPS nodded. "I...I assumed." they murmured. Tophat sighed heavily. He didn't expect to half-completely confess /TODAY/. "I respect you for telling me." GPS started, and Tophat avoided their eyes. They were both quiet for a minute or two. "And I feel the same way," Tophat immediately glanced back at them, his eyes wide, and they were..smiling. Tophat immediately returned the gesture with a relieved grin as they continued. "You don't know how relieved I am to hear that." He whispered with a sigh. GPS's smile remained plastered on their face. "I'm happy, though. Up here, we can figure out all the relationship stuff later..We have so much time to think about that kind of stuff." GPS continued, leaning on Tophat, glancing back to the nearly finished sunset. Tophat nodded again, flushing slightly, before replying in a slightly flustered tone. "..Yeah! We have all the time in the world-" Tophat glanced at GPS and his eyes widened, and he trailed off. Their screen was cracked beyond repair, and glitching. However, their wide grin was still on. They spoke, their voice now crazily glitchy and corroded now. "You're so hopeless, you claim you're over me, yet you still secretly hope deep down that I'll come back some day." They observed with a quiet laugh. Tophat woke with a start, and begrudgingly sat up, blinking wearily. He glanced at the clock. 3:21am. After these dreams he always felt the same despair and helplessness he felt that night at the manor. How lovely. Guess he wasn't done coping. He took deep breaths so he wouldn't start sobbing, then after that, just laid back down and stared at the ceiling dejectedly for the rest of the night till morning. ★ ★in my room★ ★ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
