Chapter 8: Zelda's Pov: It had just occurred to me that I didn't have a plan of attack. If I attacked Majora, would I hurt Link? Then I realized something equally concerning. My shield was gone. Purah's Shiekah Slate did nothing against him, and The Hero Of Time wasn't here. "If you just let yourself get hit, you'll die!" Purah said after I got hit for what felt like the 100th time. "I'm trying!" I yelled. "He's too fast!" I got hit again and fell to the ground. Majora cackled. He raised the Master Sword, which was now blackened and then- nothing happened. Majora stopped. I heard Link's voice in the mask, struggling. "G-grah! Stupid mask! Y-you can't just make people your puppets!' He growled. "Zelda, I'm sorry I have to do this, I-I'd never forgive myself if Majora made me hurt you. "I wish I could see everyone, one more time. "What?! Link, what are you doing?!" I cried. I finally grasped what was going on as he raised the Master Sword and pointed it towards his chest. I couldn't just sit here and watch Link sacrifice himself. "No!" I shouted. The Triforce started to shine on my hand It felt like the day that Link nearly died 100 years ago. Majora's Mask flew off of Link's face and hit the ground hard. The Master sword returned to normal and fell out of his hand. He collapsed to the ground. I was hoping the blackness that had been spreading on him would go away, but it didn't. His entire left eye was black now. I ran to his side to see if he was injured. Link's PoV: It really sucked to have been knocked unconscious 3 times in 24 hours. But I was more used to the feeling this time around. Besides my vision being a bit blurry, I didn't feel terrible. Zelda was by my side and Purah was running toward me. "Linky? you okay?" Zelda asked. "I-I'm fine. Are YOU okay?" I asked. "I'm fine, but WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! You really thought killing yourself was a good plan?!" She yelled, smacking me in the face. I deserved that, though. "Okay, okay. You win." I chuckled. "But you're right. I'm sorry." I said as she wrapped her arms around me. "I'm just glad you're alright." She whispered, kissing me. "Please, don't do that in front of me." Purah said. "You know how I feel about public displays of affection." "And I wouldn't celebrate just yet!" Majora finished. "Cause the party is just getting started!" Cool he was still alive. Majora was shouting something tauntingly, but I wasn't listening. Instead, I was thinking of a plan. Whatever this stupid mask had up his sleeve, we needed to stop it, and fast.
