This probably isn’t want you guys would want to hear but- I’m rewriting storm a new dawn. As for why I’m pretty unhappy with how it went and I feel it was a little all over the place lacked character arcs and small plot holes and could have had more potential I’m also creating a prequel and rewriting the original series storm so depending on what I change storm a new dawns lore would become uncanon so it needs a rewrite I also want to go into a different direction, I also think it lacked a few things, I also want to fix what happened to tide because he d!ed then came back and so on and I’d like to revise that and change things up a little. To be honest I’m kind of going for a bit more mature storyline (there will still be some funny parts- because well you guys probably know I like silly things because of all the meme thumbnails I use-) the rewrite will add more depth to the story and really help me explore character dynamics and stuff and it fixes any plot holes. I also think i could add more emotion and stuff to the storyline, i will likely redesign a few characters and stuff. Before anyone panics I am not completely changing it! The ending will likely be the same just changed up a little! And no the confirmed ships won’t change! The rewrite will help with the upcoming sequel. I know I only finished the series a while ago (I think it’s probably been about a year since I posted the final chapter and the epilogue is still on hold) but I feel it’s necessary to rewrite it I’m not really satisfied with how I did the original story and i genuinely want to go for a more mature storyline, the originals most early chapters were just random ideas i came up with there were no actual written plots i just did whatever i came up with which is why it’s all over the place, later on I began writing down a plot but the older chapters likely have plot holes I also dislike some of my dialogue choices. So I really feel a rewrite is the best way to fix this it’s also kind of necessary for when I rewrite storm, and create the prequel once those are created the original storm a new dawns plot will no longer fit entirely into the lore and I’m making another sequel so for that I need to rewrite it. But don’t worry I will keep all the current characters, dynamics and confirmed ships, I will likely redo a few old scenes if I feel they are good enough to add to the rewrite anyway that’s it for this announcement feel free to ask questions. I may be a bit more active on this account as I will be making concept art (on unrelated note my wings of fire comic will be getting a rewrite as well as I am also unsatisfied with how i did it and feel it needs work though luckily it only has one chapter and so there’s not much I will be redoing since it’s only at one chapter)(oh the original chapters of storm and the wings of fire comic have been unshared mostly because I dislike the art and the plot is terrible I also doubt people read storm because of how confusing the plot was and how short it was)
