At around 12:09 A.M EST, CIRSEI accomplished it's first fruitful spacecraft launch, after a DATDS unit was successfully launched into Low Earth Orbit in order to test the performance of a solid propulsion system designated as the SPP-008. Although neither the performance nor specs of this system have been disclosed, the launch has marked a huge milestone for CIRSEI and has put it ahead of JRSEP when it comes to experience, although this is likely to change very soon.
