The kings two cursed sons (one permanently a rabid man-eating tiger the second transitioning into a permanent rabid man-eating panther) were exiled to bengal so she bumps into the second and they get acquainted (the first is just a tiger at this point). The prince (panther boi) despises his father so spy girl doesnt tell him shes a spy. The trope is wolf: sheep: shepherd dog in the order of trader:spy:prince but with a twist; the trader wants to devour the spy (figuratively) but can’t because she’s an envoy to an already shaky relation, so he’s a wolf dressed in sheepdog’s clothing. The prince is protective of the spy because she doesn’t fear him and is understanding though he literally want to devour her; his curse is that he transforms into a panther (like seizures) but he can only turn back with human bl00d/flesh, which he attacks the spy for once T0T so he’s a sheepdog dressed in wolf’s clothing. The spy, as you have figured, hasn’t told either of them about her status as spy. She acts innocent and naive in front of the two so they underestimate her abilities. She is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. The second part of the story I can’t really tell because spoilers BUT #2 is the spy’s daughter and at this point the prince is evil and hates the spy and abuses the daughter to irritate the spy! It’s part of the lore that the spy and the daughter resemble each other trust
