repost and use ezgif and make sure u're in the webp section nerdy explanation here: so, this works better with higher resolution pictures (so like 500x500 is very very crispy, meanwhile like 120x120 is like meh. but it saves it from scratch compression that's all) how does it save from scratch compression for pfps? well it's because it's a funny format and think of websites, when you zoom in it changes the resolution dynamically depending on what screen size you have and how far you're zoomed in, instead of a static jpeg. aka webp is basically just website images so yeah lol.
these are best for still pfps, but I'll likey make one for animated (animated ones actually easier imo)
