❥ Update 011. Welcoming Ginger - I brought Ginger out into the pasture, and petted her gently before heading to the barn, closing the gate behind me. I saw her walk off to the other side of the pasture, but when I she saw me approaching again she trotted back over. I held out an apple slice in my hand, and she just held it in her mouth, not sure what to think of it before swallowing it just about whole. She sniffed me, probably wondering if I had any more treats. --- She followed me into the barn and I unlocked her stall, and closed it gently behind her, locking it securely. I stroked her mane and she nuzzled my hand lightly before she decided to back off a bit. --- I stroked her mane one last time and walked out of the barn, deciding that was enough for the day.
