1 - Intro lick from ... something in a Baggie. By Billy Strings. 2 - Two guitar breaks from... haha "something" Blues. Also Billy Strings. 3 - My own created guitar break for "I'll Fly Away." 4 - My harder break for the same song. 5 - Tom Dooley! (As performed by Billy Strings, haha). 6 - Gild the Lily - Billy Strings. I perform a verse, chorus, and then the signature lick. I learned this song less than an hour before recording so it sounds the roughest out of them all. Lyrics (of the portion I sung): "Starin' into the wishing well has got you feelin' a particular way, Can't stand to see your own reflection. So toss a penny and close your eyes and try to think of somethin' to say, Don't waste your wishes on perfection. (Chorus): It must feel nice (must feel good) to just be heard; And it might sound a bit absurd... I'd sing along with the birds I'd sing along if I only knew the words I'd sing along with the birds if I only knew the words..."
Basically Billy Strings for most of the songs, been learning these over the summer. Sorry my singing is so quiet, I have already established that this is late at night, and I live with my parents, two toddlers, and a newborn. God for giving me nice guitar-pickin' fingers. Phoebe for playing fiddle with me (even though she doesn't in any of these recordings). :3
