Sorry this one’s really late but I had to put all my attention into the most recent DTA I hosted which was the 1000+ DTA and I’m so happy that it gained as much support and entry’s as it did. Everyone was so excited by the collaborative DTA idea and people were even asking me if they could be apart of a collab DTA in the future! So because of that I’m going to host more collaborative DTA’s in the future! I’ll most likely do them every .5k+ (500) gained so the next possible one would be the 1.5k+ (1,500) so if anyone’s interested please let me know down in the comments and we can discuss the matter in private. I’d like to keep the collaborating artists a secret until the DTA’s release and we’d need to talk about details and all that stuff. A: Draw To Adopt, you draw any character(s) you like from the batch and if you win you get to keep them as your own character! Q: How many can I win? A: Each person can only win one, Alts don’t count. Q: How many can I draw? A: You’re 100% welcomed to draw all of them but once again you can only win one. Q: Is it ok if I can animate a character and do a headshot? A: Of course! Animations give you an even better chance at winning that character! You can do multiple things for the character(s)! Q: What can give me a higher chance of winning? A: I prefer quality over quantity so if you were to do multiple animations that were quickly made and there was obviously not a lot of effort I will favor others entry’s. Most past winners have made 1-2 projects with lots of effort put into them. You’re always welcome to look at the previous winners entries to compare them to yours. Q: Can I make them a backstory?? A: Yess! If I’m going to give you this character I hope you know what you’d do with them! Backstory’s are a good factor I put in as well when choosing the winners! Q: Is it ok to change the design? A: Yes, but only a little bit. If the character is not similar enough to the original or is completely different I might favor others entry’s more. Q: If someone is mean about someone else's art, will they get banned from doing these? A: It honestly depends, if you are mean to someone else about their art for my DTA’s you won’t have any chances to win a character from that DTA specifically, no matter how good the art. But if it continues then they won’t ever win any Adopts for any future DTA’s thus being banned.
Scratch quality made it bad... HOPE U LIKE ANY WAY! This is Datura, but i kind of changed her name to Nightlily. Now a she/her Leaf+Night. Mother (Leafwing):Thornspine Father (Nightwing):Hollowgaze //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Backstory: Nightlily lives on pantala with her leafwing mother after her nightwing father was killed by a mudwing, she's an exceptional hunter because her colours blend into the dark foliage of the Poison Jungle. Only recently has she met a kind leafwing named Pineclaw. They ran into each other one day when hunting, and, things just got better from there... Nightlily began to fall for Pineclaw and he began to fall for her as well. But the problem was that the village Nightlily and her mother lived in was very VERY old, so they did arranged marriages for their dragonets, and sadly Nightlily's betrothed was none other than the village bully, Rootwhisper. But, the elders didn't know about how Rootwhisper treated the other dragonets, he always acted like an angel around them. *eye role* One day, during one of their secret meetings, Pineclaw finally told her who he was betrothed to. It just so happened to be Nightlily's best friend, Ivycoil... The first thought that flashed across her mind was that her boyfriend was un-loyal! But then she remembered the arranged marriage thing and felt a little better. Sooooo... That was long... should i make a full backstory for her?
