If anyone is unaware what it was here you go The original plot of Zootopia was a much darker, dystopian story focused on Nick Wilde as the main character, where predators were forced to wear electric "tame collars" that shocked them if they got too excited or aggressive. Nick ran an underground amusement park called "Wild Times" so predators could safely remove their collars, while Judy Hopps was a seasoned officer sent to shut him down. Disney eventually scrapped this concept because the world felt too bleak and oppressive, choosing instead to make Judy the optimistic protagonist and changing the story into a buddy-cop mystery about implicit bias.
