Chapter 2: Frustration Zelda's Pov: I couldn't help but keep thinking about what my parents had said. It had never bothered me before, so why was it now? Link DID just get me flowers, but I never thought of it like this. What were these new feelings? Would I ever understand them? I tried to fall asleep that night, but barely did. My cat, Storm jumped onto the bed that morning. I usually would be annoyed, but with how little sleep I had, It would be the only thing to wake me up. "Alright, alright, I'm up!" I muttered, rolling out of bed. After getting changed and making myself breakfast, I headed out. I stopped at Link's house. We always walked to school together, another thing that had me thinking yesterday. My parents words sank deep into me. "Is everything okay, Zel?" Link asked on the way to school. "Y-yeah." I muttered. "I'm fine." He gave me a look that was half confused, half frustrated I wasn't telling the truth, and half worried. Yes. I know that's 3 halves, but we've already been over how bad my math grade is. "Something's up. Why aren't you telling me?" "I'm fine!" I shouted. He now gave me a look that said, "no one who is 'fine' acts like that" and, "Geez. I'm sorry, okay?" He has very expressive eyes. "O-Okay. Well, see you at lunch" Link muttered as we arrived at school. Crap! What have I done? Me and Link had never been upset with each other. I couldn't just sit there and take it. But Link was already gone. I sighed and walked to class, hoping I could fix things later.
