↟˚☀︎ᨒ↟↟˚☀︎ᨒ↟↟˚☀︎ᨒ↟↟˚☀︎ᨒ↟↟˚☀︎ᨒ↟ I was recently accepted as an Employee for this month at the hoofprints community barn, and was so excited to start meeting the horses! Horizon really caught my eye, and I decided to groom him for a bit to get to know him better. He was turned out, so I grabbed his halter and grabbed him from the field. He was a bit excited, and acted a bit pushy as I put on his halter and clipped his leadrope. After a short walk to the Wash bay, I clipped the crossties to his halter and unclipped the leadrope, stopping at the tack room to grab some brushes I started with the curry comb, which he loves! He really leaned into it, and though he wasn't dirty, he was obviously enjoying his spa day! Once I started on the body brush, he snorted a few times, but soon he relaxed. Onto his hooves, he was a bit hesitant on his back ones but eventually I got him to pick them up. After that, I turned him back out after his treats! ↟˚☀︎ᨒ↟↟˚☀︎ᨒ↟↟˚☀︎ᨒ↟↟˚☀︎ᨒ↟↟˚☀︎ᨒ↟ Super excited to start working with all of these horses! Thank you for employing me :D
