Laofilm Television is the television arm of the Laotianlandian major film studio Laofilm, founded in 1954 initially to produce TV series for LLBC's 2 TV networks. It also specialised in distributing shows from MCA-TV, Revue Studios and Kayro Productions, and eventually Universal Television, aswell as MGM-TV. The deal with LLBC ended in 1958 when LLBC founded their own production division, as Laofilm Television would start producing shows for the newly-launched UTB later that year. In 1964, Laofilm Television started producing and distributing shows in colour, which would still be shown in B&W in the Laotianlands as they would not adopt colour TV until 1969/1970. This is the main variant of Laofilm Television's 1954-1965 logo. It would at many times include the show's own production company credited above the logo, much like Revue's logo of the time period. The logo also used either the ending theme of the show or a custom fanfare produced for it.
