Gingerspots hoped Creekstar would pick a good cat to mentor such a talented young kit like Miragepaw. Gingerspots froze, his fathers eyes were on him?! "Gingerspots" Creekstar mewed, "I believe you are ready for your first apprentice, you will be mentor to Miragepaw". "I uh..." Gingerspots didn't know how to react. He looked down into Miragepaw's ginger eyes, identical to his father, Robinwatchers. Gingerspots glanced around the clearing hoping someone would encourage him or something. His eyes landed on Icarusflight. The sunlight dappled the handsome toms gray and brown pelt. Gingerspots took a sharp inhale when he fully locked onto Icarusflight. Icarusflight nodded to him, he could practically hear the voice of his crush in his head. 'If you love me Gingerspots, you will train my brother to be the greatest warrior CreekClan has ever seen' the voice seemed to say. Gingerspots quickly nodded back to Icarusflight before looking back to Miragepaw. "I'll train you as best I can" he mewed. Miragepaw smiled, "I'll try my best to learn!". "Reaperpaw! Riverpelt! Eveningpaw! Dreamlight! Miragepaw! Gingerspots!" the clan cheered. Icarusflight approached and flicked his tail gently at Gingerspots, "Congrats bud". Gingerspots flushed bright red, "uh...thanks". After Icarusflight left, Miragepaw blinked at Gingerspots, "Do you like my brother?". "uh, of course! He's a good warrior and a good frie-" Gingerspots was cut off by Miragepaw. "No, I mean do you LIKE like my brother" Miragepaw tilted his head. Gingerspots flushed bright red again, "Uh...maybe a little, but keep that between us Miragepaw".
I decided to pair up Robinwatcher's kits with mentors, also i thought it would be funnies for Icarusflight's crush to mentor his brother. GingerIcarus is deffo going to go on training dates with Miragepaw thirdwheeling lol. also making Gingerspots the CreekClan POV cats mentor gives him more screentime and more Gingerspots screentime is always nice. Riverpelt -> Reaperpaw (Riverpelt is gonna tell Reaperpaw some not very nice things about his dad Onyxshadow lol. rivalry goes deep and I kinda love the River/Onyx rivalry) Eveningpaw -> Dreamlight (I had also made Dreamlight mentor to Inkheart, I figure it would be symbolic for Dreamlight to finally recieve another apprentice) Miragepaw -> Gingerspots (GingerIcarus fanservice lol. also more screentime for Gingerspots) What do you think ?
