Wow, I feel old. So, as of today, probably the most personally impactful thing that I've ever made on Scratch is apparently a decade old now? The New York Camp ran for three seasons from 2016 to 2021, all of which got finished somehow. Very impressive considering how bad I was (and still am, to an extent) at finishing projects. At best, it was of dubious quality, and at worst, it was... downright cringe, filled with weird pop culture references, "logic and strategy" challenges, and stuff that dates the series to clearly look like it was made by a very young teenager. Despite the... not great quality of TNYC, and some not great moments surrounding it, I remember this silly camp fondly. I first met and got to know many of my closest friends to this day through TNYC, and I feel like it also set me on the path of improving my art and animation, which I am still on. Out of all of my Scratch projects, TNYC probably has the most impact on who I am now. I know it sounds silly, but this camp was everything to me when I was like 13. I'll never bring it back, I've moved past it, but I will always be appreciative for what TNYC has done for me. I can't believe it's been 10 years already. Thank you for the memories!
Assets and characters belong to their creators, I don't feel like listing them all. Whistle song is by Sim Gretina (it took like 10 years to learn who made it but I GOT IT YAY) While I'm not going to list every individual contestant here, I do want to give a special shoutout to @Penguin3806, @Peekystar, and @openguin22 - the three winners of The New York Camp, who are also still very close friends of mine to this day. You guys won absolutely nothing, but you can go out there and say you won TNYC. I just realized I forgot to put Paper Bag in here oops
