inspo from @daniwanii + so many more TW : depression , su*c*de 1. being uneducated isn't cute starting off strong with the most lukewarm take of all time , but seriously. you have the ability to be on scratch so you have access to the internet (walk with me here) and if , even with this privilege , you are uneducated about the happenings in the world ... ou girlie you're cooked. i very firmly believe that you should know what / who you're supporting before you support them. soo do your research kids ‼️ 2. bts absolutely deserves the backlash piggy backing off the last lukewarm take , we have yet another one ‼️ as global kpop stars you should know that your actions are literally broadcast on the world stage. you should ALSO know to do your research omds ‼️ especially rm cause bro you're literally part of an organization AGAINST women's violence. wdym you're going to completely ignore all of that and attend a chr*s br*wn concert are you so for really rn. 3. being smart ≠ not having to study i feel like this is also really obvious , hence why it's in a project titled 'lukewarm takes' but i feel like a lot of youth have started associating being smart with not having to study. quite frankly i think it's the opposite , being smart means knowing how to manage your time , knowing your weaknesses and targeting them , and putting in the effort. i was forever the kid who never had to study , and i'm in SUPER accelerated classes (as mentioned in my single: beginner's permit.. go read.. /nf) but being in calculus this year has absolutely humbled me , so much to the point that i have to be tutored by a classmate. this does not mean that i am stupid , though , and i feel like that is something that a lot of us need to hear 4. if your favs aren't actually part of the music making process , they aren't artists , they're just singers. HEAVY ON THIS ONE OK ‼️ i love my goat starfall , he is an ARTIST because he writes HIS OWN music. in that same idea , joon is also an ARTIST because he PRODUCES his own music. if your fav's name is not in the credits of their songs , they are a singer. ‼️ to be an artist , you have to make the art ‼️ 5. mental illness is so normalized and romanticized in this day and age. lookie here buddy , don't get me wrong. obviously , shedding light on these topics is GOOD , but it's getting so romanticized nowadays that people aren't taking it as seriously as it is ‼️ like genuinely if i see another person call themselves 'autistic' whenever they do something dumb , i WILL be throwing hands ‼️ <3 same thing with depression , people will have one bad day and then claim that they're feeling depressed. no honey , that's just a bad day. what i don't think people realize is that this diminishes the severity of the actual mental illness / disorder / divergence. depression , su*c*de and anxiety are actual things that people suffer from and throwing the word around willy nilly makes it seem like it's nothing 6. if you're moving or going ia delete ur acc omds ok this might just be a me thing but if you're going to move accounts every 2 business days and you're going to hog every single cute aesthetic user and not have a SINGLE project on the account ... you are a bum in my eyes and i have a bone to pick with you ‼️ and like obviously i get it if you get banned or had projects or whatnot but like. if you're going to just namesnipe and never ever use the account im going to slap you </3 retire the user and let the poor have it ‼️ 7. one upping everyone is bum behaviour i swear to everything that is subject to the sun's golden rays, if i say something like "i only slept 4 hours last night" and YOU reply with something like "only 4? i only slept 2!" im going to smack you sideways. idk this might just be a me thing again but i need some people to get into their hard little skulls that: ‼️ not ‼️ everything ‼️ is ‼️ a ‼️ competition ‼️ side note: if this is your way of connecting to somebody's situation , then obv thats a completely different thing , just try not to format it like you're trying to one up them </3 8. larping cultures only happens due to racism. and i will stand by this view until the end of time. walk with me here , if there was no need to be ashamed of your culture , why wouldn't you represent it ? if your culture was welcomed with open hands , you would be proud of it , would you not ? so then conversely , if your culture was the butt of jokes , how would you feel about identifying as part of it ? it is only because of the racism that some cultures face , either because they are too 'foreign' for the western view or because of the western superiority complex. for example , if india wasn't constantly the butt of every single deodorant , accent , or scam call joke , perhaps 10 year old me wouldn't be praying every night to wake up as a little white girl. another note: putting down other cultures has unbelievably long lasting effects on the children that hear your insensitive comments.
