sunnywillow is a senior warrior who nowadays, doesn’t often get up to much. however as an apprentice, she was one of the clans most incredible warriors. unless acompanied by her best friend snappaw, she would often go out on hunts alone. one day, returning to camp later than usual, she hears a sound. immediately knowing what the sound was, she wakes the deputy and leader. they run towards the sound to find snappaw being held down by a fox. the leader and deputy are too afraid to get close, and although sunnypaw tries to save her, the adults lack of help results in snappaw’s death. sunnypaw is enraged by this and decides to start a petition through the camps, to not only demote the leader and deputy but to make it clear in the warrior code that the higher ups aren’t allowed to back out of things like they did when snappaw died. the flower she wears was a gift from snappaw, that is slowly wilting but sunnywillow is fighting to keep alive.
