Finally got around to finishing this after a week or two of procrastination lol This design is so cute! I love beachy vibes and this one was just speaking to me lol I wanna apologize profusely for the quality scratch didn’t do it justice ToT I promise it looks betterrrrr use full screen ig *sobs* If you want me to send it to you on another platform for better quality just lmk Idk if I’m allowed to give this gurl some background lore but I’m going to anyways since I feel like she needs it ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Her name’s Opal :D and Opal was raised by her mom, Starfish, with her two older sisters; she was the runt of the litter. One day her and her family were fishing for oysters during low tide when the tide suddenly came up and trapped them under some rocks. Being the runt, Opal was able to squeeze through the gaps and run for help, finding a stray cat to help move the rocks. By the time she got back with help, the tide had risen a lot, and while the cat she got for help was able to rescue her sisters… Starfish sadly didn’t make it. Grieved by the loss of their mother, the sisters were taken in by the stray tom and he adopted them as his kittens. Although he was an amazing father figure to her, Opal found herself coming back to the ocean to remember her mom(her and her siblings now lived in a forrest a bit away from the ocean). As soon as she was old enough, she decided to live next to the ocean permanently. In her free time, Opal loves to scrounge for small treasures in the sand, and she has an overwhelming amount of starfish accessories to remember her mother by. She once found an old pair of striped socks and a ratted piece of an old picnic blanket, and those items are now part of her accessories to pin starfish onto :) Opal still visits her sisters, but she loves to spend her time swimming and sunbathing in the sun. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hope you like her! :D All art drawn by me Character is so far @Birdsaresocute’s
