Skills in above subject (for me to improve/acquire): Compositions (such as foreground etc I don’t get that stuff at all), colours (contrast, colour fade, etc usually present in eyesight + photography and something else is struggle with replicating in photo-to-landscape studies), elements (grass, objects, trees, etc which I usually use texture brushes for so they look way more refined with way less effort but this causes my bgs to pull attention away from the subjects) Art style (your improvement involves): I would say realism but bgs are supposed to fill the void of white while also being much less refined as compared to the subject by being simple while incorporating all the elements mentioned in the skills I want to acquire so I don’t think the realism/cartoon tag will work for this ,’—’ SUBJECT 2: Art subject (for improvement): Anthros/ferals Skills in above subject (for me to improve/acquire): I can’t draw animal-based characters for the life of me and so I need to learn! I would say anatomy (accurate builds, proportions, etc) and rendering fur (undertones, highlights, shadows, etc), skin (undertones, highlights, shadows, etc), etc) are my biggest issues because I can’t get past the human with the animal mask phase Art style (your improvement involves): Semi-realism (not super cartoony) SUBJECT 3: Art subject (for improvement): Humans Skills in above subject (for me to improve/acquire): Realism/semi realism rendering skin (undertones, highlights, shadows, etc), hair (undertones, highlights, shadows, etc) clothes (highlights, shadows, folds, etc), anatomy (proportions, etc) + those extra flourishes that are put in for the sake of eye candy I can’t do that for some reason for the life of me Art style (your improvement involves): Semi-realism/realism Art experience: My first project on this acc is one of the first 5 things I drew digitally. I haven’t been serious about art for a long time and I still don’t think I have reached the same level as a lot of people here—though recently I’ve been doing a lot more art like participating in Artfight for the first time, doing loads of OTAs and taking up (and making) loads of pays to practice my art). These specific subjects I have no experience in except the given examples which are very recent (within 2-3 months from now, if not less) Art program(s): Adobe Fresco (all my art is made here!), Ibis Paint (my after effects app lol but I am familiar with the interface and can use it if in need), Procreate (I have access to it through school though it is not my go-to, I am on the way of purchasing it for personal uses), Pixilart (for pixel art/lower quality art because I like how pixelated designs + art look smm) Notes: Nope! Art examples: For Subject 1: 1) AF attack for , the most impressive thing here is the ‘retina burn’ from the purple I used for the sun instead of white. (a trick from a social media artist). The grass/hills used a grass brush. This bg is still okay because it’s relatively simple 2-3) Part of an animation for a DTA, I find these gorgeous but they completely suck the attention away from our subject. Also made with heavy usage of texture brushes, would look far less impressive with a regular brush and I would not be able to make this traditionally. The far area of these (the distanced trees, the far away hills) are also not far-away-looking because of the lack of misty-ness (if I can say that?) which makes far away things a less bright/less saturated colour but here I don’t have that and I don’t know how to make it For subject 2: First two are HEAVILY referenced (on images): 4-5) Part of kit apps, first isn’t mine anymore the second was mine but dyde in like 2 weeks (hunger) 6) Closest thing to an anthro I have rn For subject 3: 7) This was started after the next one but this was an hour study 8) This is my fav drawing ever I worked a few hours on this over a span of a few months (considering art slumps) I am the 27th person to remix the above project btw I, Sol, have read the terms of service and will agree to follow it. I am aware that violation in the terms of service can result in removal/barring of Program. (I recite like a member of a scout club)
