Thanks for helping out <333 I reached the set by 9:50, and I could see Knuckles, my manager, fuming. He was wearing a black tuxedo with slick-looking kicks. I decided I could take on Knuckles' steam after I reacquainted myself with Tails. I saw Rouge just entering the set, looking dazzling in her purple blouse, jean shorts, knee-high boots, and a large sun hat. “Hey, Rouge!” “Well, hey Sonic, you cute little thing! Sorry, I’m a bit late, but I was just eyeing some beautiful jewelry with the most exquisite gems. I may need to go back later. Anyways, what's up with you?” “Nothing much, I just got here as well. I think Knuckles is about to turn into a steaming tea kettle.” “I’ll cool him down, and you better go meet Amy; she’s been waiting for you.” “Oh.. fun!” Rouge pointed in the direction where she was, and I added as I walked away, “Let me know when Tails arrives!” and waved goodbye. Amy was a really sweet girl, and I really like her, but I’ve never thought of her as more than a friend—not after…. Anyway, because Amy and I are such big stars in Green Hill and everywhere else, the media started shipping us, calling us things like “Sonamy” and such. I never really minded it that much. As I walked the way Rouge pointed, I couldn’t see Amy anywhere. Where could she be? Rouge said she got here earlier than I, so— The feeling of paper as it flew onto my face scattered my thoughts to the dusty corner of my brain, where they lurked in an orderly fashion. (BRO WHAT WAS THAT INTERPRETATION ABOUT WHAT THE HEDGEHOG?!) I grabbed the paper before it dropped to the floor, and in very clean and neat text, it read, “Amy Rose, playing the role of Annie, Seth’s love interest.” I looked up from the paper and saw Amy tapping her foot on the ground with her arms crossed. She looked very angry. “Sonic, where have you been?! I’ve been waiting for you to practice our lines!! This is a completely new movie that we have to prepare for, and you came late?! The audacity!” I sighed. “Hey, Ames.” I said, mustering a smile. “Don’t you ‘Ames’ me. You’ve been late to practice for this movie for days now! What’s going on?” I really didn’t want to answer, but thankfully, Tails saved me from it. “Hey Sonic, sorry I’m late. I had a few things to do back at home.” “No sweat, bud. Fill me in.” “Thanks. So,” Tails took out an iPad from his backpack. He was wearing a black shirt that said Nirvana on it and some black jeans. I remembered the first day of work, Tails was wearing a black suit, but I assured him he could wear casual clothes whenever he came to work, unless it was a special day and I had to wear a suit too. “You have a movie shoot right now, then at 11:30 you have a photo shoot, then at 12:05 you have to go to a bookstore and sign some books, then come back here at 1:15 to shoot the rest of the movie. This is the same schedule for tomorrow, but some things will have to be swapped on Wednesday.” “Whoa, man! You’re always so on point!” “Well, it's not much. All I have to do is read your schedule right from this doohickey right here.” Tails scratched the back of his head at my praise. Tails gestured with his hand to the set, and Amy and I followed him. I could feel Amy’s eyes burning into the back of my head, but I just kept on smiling. Her temper would wear out soon… probably. We arrived on set with our director, Charmy, wearing his iconic cowboy hat with a flannel jacket and some western-y jeans. He was always the cowboy in the crew. (Note: Charmy is almost as tall as Sonic, just up to his shoulders, so he isn’t a little bee even though that would be pretty cute BUT I wanna make them older :P …. Enough :|) “Everyone on set!” I walked to stand by a couch in the setting, and Amy made her way over to it to sit as I tried to remember the lines I was currently going to say in this scene. “And, action!”
