Chapter 7: Final Goodbye My Dad drove Me and Link to the hospital to see Mom. I was kind of hoping to see someone else frozen that Dad had mistaken for her, but it was Mom. "Your mother developed Congelo Syndrome, or 'Body Stasis'. There is no clear evidence on HOW, though." The nurse told me. "However, we can pull her out of this state. It's just likely she will die." She pulled out a small needle and dipped it in a bottle of medication. "It's better than her staying here forever." Dad sighed. The nurse began to prepare for the treatment as Link grabbed my hand and squeezed it. As the needle was ejected Mom's body woke up, then immediately collapsed as her blood went cold. Her skin quickly lost color. "Naomi, I-I'm sorry." My dad whispered. Tears filled my eyes, my Dad's, Link's, and even the nurse. I wrapped my arms around her limp body. "Please...Please don't leave me!" I whispered. "I can't make it without you!"
