I looked behind me, my wavy brown hair flying, then I heard a thump, and I fell, my head aching. "oww..." I groaned. "Y-you ok?" asked a shy voice. "Yeah, just a little shook up-" I stopped as I stared into the person talking. Ember. "Is it really you-" I started. "shh," She said. "everyone thinks I'm New, so it wouldn't make sense for you to know me." I was still in shock and had a strange feeling again. Then I found myself sweating and both of us blushing. I took her hand and she lifted me up. "I-I-" I stuttered. I felt weird again. "I don't feel good, I need to go to the nurse." I mumbled as I pretend coughed. "O-Ok." Ember said, looking at her feet sadly. I felt guilty, and I didn't know why. I didn't know why I also felt weird, a feeling I couldn't explain. I felt lost, confused, guilty, sad, and was having species dysphoria and I didn't even know why. I felt like crying. I ran away into the nurse, my heart thumping inside my chest, and heavy breathing.
