Uhhh hmm In 7th grade we just got into the WW2 unit in history so the topic was pretty fresh to us. Anyways, I knew ball because I watched Axis Powers: Hetalia prior to the unit being introduced (oh wait one time I feel asleep in class *still WW2 until btw* and I woke up and saw a political cartoon of H*tler marrying Stalin?? Also when we were taking the test I didn’t remember anything because I fell asleep so I was having trouble remembering the axis powers until I remembered that hetalia exists. I fr just thought “axis powers.. who is that… omg, Hetalia. It’s Hetalia. OMG ITS JAPAN, ITALY, AND GERMANY FROM HETALIA!! OMG ALLIED?? EASY! FRANCE, UNITED KINGDOM, UNITED STATES, SOVIET UNION, AND CHINA!!!” And got a 100 on the test.) So as I mentioned before, I fell asleep during that unit (I stayed up too late reading on ao3), well I was sleeping until I heard this HORRIBLE SCREAM. I was so distraught, I looked around the classroom to see what the matter was. Then I see this bum crying at their seat man. Some kid next to them asked them if they were okay and the bum answered “NO IM NOT OKAY!! I DONT THINK I’LL EVER BE AFTER THIS!!!” Mind you, the teacher is awkwardly standing in the front of the classroom tryna teach. ISTG BRO THIS BUM GOES ON A WHOLE RANT ABOUT HOW “Japan would never do this!” And “this isn’t the beautiful country I know!” MIND YOU, THEY ARE SO LOUD AND EVERYONE IS WATCHING THEM. If you know me, I laugh really easily, and so I did. I still feel bad but damn bro shut your corny mouth bro and let me sleep bruv. Also I would like to mention that this is an HONORS class, supposedly full of MATURE, SMART, and ENGAGED students. I don’t know about you, but that class seemed anything BUT mature, smart, and engaged to me ✌️ I genuinely wish I was lying, I thought I was seeing crap because I was so sleepy. I closed my eyes thinking this was just a dream but nope they were still there, ranting and crying about Japan being WW2. Also some kid was also fed up and said something like “shut up or you’re next in the concentration c*mps.” AND HE GOT SENT TO THE PRINCIPAL’S OFFICE. I would also like to mention this ALL happened in one class btw, it was just a fever dream I just wanted to sleep. Something was actually wrong with my old school because what the hell Uhm well yeah another story but not that bad compared to my regular life
