"Control yourselves and be careful! The devil is your enemy. And he goes around like a roaring lion looking for someone to eat." - 1 Peter 5:8 Evil things happen unexpectedly, for example 9/11. But for you and God's believers, you're always going be safe with God. Your gift of heaven will never be taken away from you. Even when there are problems going on in your life, God does it all for a reason. The Earth is a dangerous place, but if you control yourself and stay careful, and believe God has already defeated the devil, you'll stay on God's side and be safe.
