So maybe you missed the original sign-ups. Or maybe you just really want to make another character for POSC. Well, now's your chance! From now until December 1st, Pancake's Object Show Camp will be hosting try-outs for each team (limit one OC per user)! Two OCs will be selected based on the following criteria. Effort, 15 points. (Is it apparent that you put in some amount of thought and care into your OC?) Visual appeal, 10 points. (It doesn't have to look super detailed — in fact, I'd probably take points off if it's TOO detailed, because that can make it difficult to export.) Creativity, 15 points. (Is the character unique in some way, or is it just a generic object?) Representation, 25 points. (Is the character's personality reflective of their object in some way? Does it have some kind of meaning to it that's somewhat apparent?) Wow Factor, 10 points (This category is more or less just a "me" thing and my own personal rating of the OC out of 10.) Originality, 125 points. (Literally just whether you made it or if it's a direct copy of someone else's work. Either you get it or you don't, there's not much room between that. I really tried to make it punishing if you stole the character for someone else, especially without crediting them. At least change SOMETHING about it, okay?) After the 2 OCs are selected by me, I'll create a voting poll project with all the REST of your OCs, and the most voted character will join, too! (So get ready to choose your favorites, alright? And don't just pick your own OC!) Additionally, all Scratchers with graded submissions will be granted an invite to be a curator in the official POSC studio. All Scratchers with contestants already IN the game have been promoted to managers in the studio, and the three winners will be promoted to managers as well (if they don't already have an OC in POSC)!
