Rachel's POV: "Is everyone ready to go?" I asked. Riju and I had just finished showing Purah, Robbie, and Zelda around the ancient Gerudo Temple we had found in the depths on our mission to save Gerudo Town. Purah smiled and said to me, "Yes, we are! I will put the coordinates into the Purah Pad to take us back up out of the depths." I smiled at her and replied, "Oh, that won't be necessary." She looked confused, as did everyone else except Riju, my sister. "But-" Purah protested. I held up my hand, signaling her to stop talking, then I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, summoning Vah Naboris. Everyone stared at me like I was crazy. Riju reassured them, "Just wait, you'll see." A few seconds later, a roar echoed down inside the depths and the ground began to shake. Everyone froze, Purah and Robbie grabbed their Sheikah gear, and Zelda summoned her Bow of Light and they all posed to attack at whatever danger may be coming. Then, Vah Naboris stepped out of the darkness and stopped in front of us, then got down on her knees for us to climb on. Zelda, Purah, and Robbie turned and stared at me in disbelief. I giggled and said to them, "Well, what are you waiting for? Everyone climb on!" The whole ride, Zelda, Purah, and Robbie kept trying to bombard me with questions, but Riju kept them at bay. A few minutes later, Riju, Zelda, Purah, Robbie, and I emerged from the depths upon Vah Naboris, who I was piloting. I still can't believe that Urbosa made me the new pilot! (She had done this about a week before when I helped Nabori, a girl from Gerudo Town, fufill a prophesy and save Gerudo Town from destruction. This was a thank you gift of sorts, such as when Ardi had given Riju her secret stone, and Urbosa had given the mysterious Link something called Urbosa's Fury, which gave him the occasional ability to produce a lightning attack like herself.) Once out of the depths, I had Vah Naboris take us back to Gerudo Town, and let us off there. After we got off, she got up and walked away again until her assistance was needed once more. "Sav'orq Vah Naboris! Sarqso for your help once more!" I shouted. Vah Naboris responeded with a roar as if to say your welcome. It took a while to get into town because Dorrah and Merina were not keen on letting Robbie, a voe, into Gerudo Town. Once I had led everyone inside the palace, and down into the Gerudo Emergency Shelter, just because it was larger than the throne room and could fit more people. Once inside, I asked Buliara to bring us some hydromelon and voltfruit. Once she had walked away, Purah, Robbie, and Zelda began to bombard me with questions. "How long have you been able to do that? How can you control it? No one has been able to since Urbosa and that was over 100 years ago!" Zelda said to me. Then, Purah and Robbie, "Where did you find it? All the divine beasts haven't been seen since the Great Calamity ended over 6 years ago!" I smiled and answered their questions. To Zelda, "I just got the power to control Vah Naboris about a week ago actually!" To Purah and Robbie, "I didn't find her, she really came to us!" Then everyone listened in awe as Riju and I reacounted to her the story about how we helped the young Gerudo girl, Naboris, fufill the prophesy, and how Urbosa gifted me the ability to control Vah Naboris. Everyone was amazed at the story, and at the end, they all congratulated me and complemented me on the great honor bestowed upon me. Soon after, Buliara returned with the food and I invited her to dine with us. "No, Lady Rachel, I mustn't. I am much to busy." I smiled at her and said, "Well then, as your temporary Chief, I order you to dine with us." She looked at me straight in the eye, and smiled, "Okay, maybe just this once." she said. ........................................................................................ After we finished our meal, Riju and I walked with Robbie, Purah, and Zelda to the main entrance. Zelda, Purah, and Robbie mounted their horses and started off into the desert to return to Hyrule Castle. As they were galloping away, I suddenly remembered something I wanted to discuss with Zelda. I ran to the sand seal lot and got Ardi, my sand seal who I named after the ancient sage of Lightning, and rode off after them. After a few minutes, I caught up, on account of the fact that horses could not go very fast in the sand, even while galloping. Zelda saw me following behind and slowed down. I said to her, "Princess! Can you stop for a moment? I have something important I need to discuss with you!" She smiled and said, "Of course!" She pulled the reigns and her horse Storm came to a stop. Purah and Robbie stopped as well and Zelda told them, "You two go on ahead, I will be along soon." They nodded in agreement and continued riding on. Zelda turned to me again and said, "Yes Rachel? What is on your mind?" I looked her straight in the eye and said, "I have some distressing news for you."
