-+✰Welcome to StarrySkies Western Show!✰+- ☄. *. ⋆--Table Of Contents--⋆. * . ☄ ⋆.ೃ࿔*:･《Rules》 ⋆.ೃ࿔*:･《Dress code》 ⋆.ೃ࿔*:･《Safety measures》 ⋆.ೃ࿔*:･《Classes》 ⋆.ೃ࿔*:･《How results are chosen》 ⋆.ೃ࿔*:･《New editions》 ⋆.ೃ࿔*:･《Prizes》 ⋆.ೃ࿔*:･《Entries》 ✧˖*°࿐Rules ➣-Do not enter a horse under 4 1/2 ➣-One horse per class (You may not enter a horse in Reining and Pole-bending at the same time) ➣-Riders must be 18 or above ➣-You may not participate with leased horses ➣-When adding points, you must provide a prooflink to the update(s), and they must be done by you. ➣-You may not participate on a horse that has been sick within the last three months. ➣-You may only enter two horses. ➣-Absolutely no horse abuse. Abuse will result in a blacklist from every StarrySkies services, invitations, art requests, and shows. ✧˖*°࿐Dress code ₊˚ˑ༄ؘHorse dress code ➣-You must participate in western tack ➣-You must have a western saddle pad. (Ex. No dressage saddlepads.). They are permitted to be any color. ➣-Leg wraps are permitted but must match the color of the saddlepad. ₊˚ˑ༄ؘRider dress code ➣-Light jeans and a button up top, or regular t-shirt, and attire such as a cowboy hat and boots are encouraged (But hats for experienced riders only!) ➣-Hairstyles may be anything as long as they are functional. ➣-Ripped jeans are allowed. ➣-Gloves are permitted but not required ➣-Cowboy hats (if worn) should preferably match the color of the boots. ➣-Spurs are not allowed. ✧˖*°࿐Safety measures ➣-There has been some worry about how western practices are abusive to the horses, so going forward for all StarrySkies's western shows, safety measures will be put in place. These measures include: ➣-Barrels will be nailed down ➣-Emergency care for both horse and rider will be present for the entirety of the event, and the days leading up to it. ➣-The arena will be made sure to be completely flat before it is covered with sand ➣-Horses lodging at the eventgrounds will have their own stalls. ➣-If you have any concerns, questions, or suggestions, please tell me! StarrySkies is always trying to improve. ✧˖*°࿐Classes ➣-Beginning: Anyone can participate in this class. ➣-Intermediate: Horses participating in this class must have practiced a good amount for the discipline they are competing in. ➣-Advanced: Horses participating in this class must well-developed skills and have participated in a western show before. (Place does not matter.) ✧˖*°࿐How results are chosen ➣-The show will close on November 13th. Results will be released sometime between the 14th and the 15th. ➣-Results will be chosen without bias on a wheel. For every point, your name is added on the wheel. You start with a base of 1 point. ➣-Points may be added by linking updates. Every update is +1 point. You can also link shows where your horse has placed from 1st to 3rd, and they also add +1 point. ➣-Points can also be bought. 1 HS/GE=1 point. There is no limit to how many points you can buy. Keep in mind that all money spent on StarrySkies Shows goes to HS/GE prizes for future shows! ✧˖*°࿐Prizes ➣-Now, what you've all been waiting for... The prizes! For each class, there will be a gift card to a tackshop and a rosette of the respective place. ✧˖*°࿐For 1st place, a 15$ gift card to Alpine Equine Supplies and a 1st place rosette. ✧˖*°࿐For 2nd place, a 10$ gift card to Starfruit Saddlery and a 2nd place rosette ✧˖*°࿐For 3rd place, a 5$ gift card to Vintage Willows Supplies and a 3rd place rosette ➣-A participation award will be given to everyone who doesn't place. ✧˖*°࿐Entries *ೃ༄Beginner: 0/8 Entries *ೃ༄Intermediate: 0/8 Entries *ೃ༄Advanced: 0/8 Entries
