Hey Guys! So I know I'm working on Lost Letters Deluxe and Digitally but I have a new EP called Dying Child coming October!!! (Release date tba) but basically it was originally going to be called bittersweet 13 but that name is too common, so I went with dying child, a whole lot darker but more emotional and really tells the story I created. So it starts very sad and emotional about being afraid, sad, and scared of losing childhood and becoming a teenager (hint hint, dying child) but then it ends very happy and positive because after all it is still a celebration of a whole year of life completed (that sounds so cringe) but yeah it ends with like celebrating your b-day. I really like it, so that's the concept. Tracklist with description in Notes and Credits.
1. Roses On Your Grave- Sad emotional ballad about saying goodbye to your younger self/childhood and basically saying while I'll miss you, stay young, and I'll grow up and survive. It's sad and powerful, I really like it. 2. Tears- I haven't written this yet but I'm thinking rn it's going to be like I'm going to miss youth so much that I'm crying but also like saying save your tears because it's part of life. 3. 13- This song is so sweet and a little superstitious, but basically hoping 13 won't be unlucky and still along the line of childhood was beautiful but also turning point where hope starts to enter. 4. Celebration- Haven't written this yet but thinking it's going to be like very upbeat positive anthem reminding you that not everyone gets another year so the fact that you do is a celebration in itself. 5. Teenage Dream- I know that there are already songs like this but I'm making my own! <3 It's basically going to be like how I imagine my teenage years to be. Very hopeful and optimistic closing track.
