After a very full day of chores, I decided to take out Cherry on a relaxing night time flatwork. Though not my calmest mare, she is just coming out of a full recovery from her leg, and is back full work! She was quite calm, which I love, and we did get in some nice circles, transitions, and flying changes with the noise of crickets in the background accompanied by the soft but icy breeze. Since Cherry was injured so early into our partnership, I never had a full chance to take her on a proper trail or a jump, so I’m very happy she’s fully recovered.
