In 1966, Pinchpod released one of their most iconic and influential cars of all time: the Thunder. The Thunder was a muscle car, designed to deliver incredible speed and acceleration for a surprisingly low cost. It was an overnight success, with its aggressive design, powerful engine, and unforgettable sound. It had a wide range of engine options as well, from a 280ci V8 all the way to an enormous supercharged 430ci V8, producing a whopping 483 horsepower. Its simplicity also made it very popular among tuners, who were able to hit horsepower as high as 900. Even the lowest trims still packed a serious punch, and the Thunder became Pinchpod's best selling model since they were founded. To be exact, over 2 million were sold over its 7 year production run. Unfortunately, the 1973 oil crisis hit it hard, and the second generation couldn't live up to the legend of its predecessor, and it was discontinued for 20 years, before seeing a revival in the 2000s. Is this the first muscle car of the SFCC?
