Hello! I have been requested to do a cover of the song Stronger together from the miraculous movie. The only problem is, I don't have a male singer to do it with. While I could TECHNICALLY just sing the whole thing myself, personally, I think it would sound WAY better with a male singer like the original. Now, you may be asking "Well, don't you know any men irl that sing?", and the answer is yes, I know at least one. Someone in my robotics club is in the auditioned mixed choir at my school, so he is obviously enjoys singing (also I have heard him sing before, he is pretty good), but I feel really weird asking a teenage boy to sing a love song from a children's movie with me. It just feels weird to me, and also, I don't even know if his range fits this song, but if no one else is able to do it, I might have no choice but to ask him to do it. So, because I need a male singer, I am holding auditions for anyone who wants to do this with me. Instructions for it are below: WHAT IS REQUIRED: - You must be male - You must be able to sing as low as A#2 and as high as A4 (Chest voice) and C5 (Head voice) (Note: This range is just from what I heard and matched up to be the notes. Listen to the original song if you want to know if you can really sing it) WHAT YOU MUST SING: - You must submit 3 vocal tracks. These are the lines you are recording from the song: 1. "Can't believe the world that you've revealed to me" -This is so I can hear your tone in the low notes 2. "Take my hand as we stand let's face the world there is nothing that can defeat us" - This is for me to harmonize to in order to hear if your vocal type sounds good with mine 3. "Hearts and minds now combined I am stronger so stay by my side" - This is so I can know how well you belt. *ALL PREVIEWS ARE INSIDE THE PROJECT* WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR: - Harmonics - If your voice sounds good with mine - Skill - How good are you at singing? - Range - How high and low can you go and how do those notes sound? IF YOU ARE NOT A MALE SINGER Get a friend to do this. Please. I need as many people as possible so if you know ANY male singers, that would be SO helpful!
Ik this may seem like a really hard song with a large range, but please at least try. Sometimes you don't know what you're capable of until you step out of your comfort zone. The first time I tried belting was when my music teacher was insisting on me to go higher and I didn't think I could. So, I decided to just try yelling it so he would think it's bad and stop asking me, but it ended up sounding like a really good belt. I ended up eventually getting a solo from that moment btw :) So just try it before just looking at the range and saying, "Nope, I can't do that". And if you try and genuinely cannot do it without damaging your vocal cords, then ask a friend. I need as many people as I can get to participate in this either way.
