The Eusan Federation was recently hit with its single largest defeat in recent history, a loss of 3 corvettes and 83 personally, as well as a single civilian yacht with a loss of all 5 people. Eusan corvettes were completely overwhelmed by the hundreds of missiles and torpedoes. It was a tragic defeat that has left the nation grieving... And hungry for revenge... For the first time since its creation: The Federation militarizes. In fact much of the military mobilizes not only modern warships, but also outdated mine sweeper and older designs, as well as the remobilization of the Space Marines (basically the Federations elite military force for planetary invasions and assaults. To ensure the protection of the civilian population an extremely heavy presence of warships have been mobilized into the western borders, as well as developments into more advanced sensor and missile technology. The Federations ship building industry has transitioned from a peaceful, simple convoy escort fleet (corvettes and frigates with maybe a few larger ships,) to a much larger battle of the line navy, consisting of more Pulsar and Quasar class warships.
