Species: Elvien

Instructions

- Basic Explanation - Elvien are close to humans, being a base species. They do have some more dominant genes, like with the narrowed ears. Besides small differences, elvien are basically humans, besides for the rare exception of one having magic, let alone ancient magic.[Only records of this is, Emris Blackwood, Soren Blackwood, and Willow Fairwyn. With only Soren Blackwood being the one that can control and see ancient magic.]. Elvien people do have longer lifespans than humans[living up to about 200], and they do have different kingdoms. - Terminology - Half-Elf - Someone who has an Elf parent, and a parent of another species. Elvien Blooded - Someone descended from an elf. Mage/Magus - Someone who can control/See ancient magic. Blood Traitors - Those who are founded to betray Elvien society Wanderers - Elvien people that don’t belong to any kingdoms/from other worlds - possible abilities in extremely rare cases - [redacted. But yes, half elves can have abilities, full elves could not[full elves are basically humans with longer lifespans and a habit of breaking human medical technology by accident], just the fate trio bc of the prophecy. Please, if you put any elves in this world in noncanon, please remember, full elves commonly don’t have magic. Think LoZ hylians.] - Goddess - Faeleen[look at my twin gods project for her bio.] - Appearance/biology - Ears - Elvien ears are not like human ears, they are more known to be more sensitive, and have bones in them that make it so elves could make them move. They are commonly used to express emotions, like cats. They are sensitive, so elvien people will wear earrings to help, and to keep them from flicking all the time because sometimes, especially with dangly earrings, the noise from the constant ear flicks will annoy the ___ out of the elf. DNA - Their DNA is a bit different from humans, which could lead to confusing moments and broken machines *thumbs up*, could usually be pretty dominant with other weaker genes[ie, human], but recessive to genes like Dragonborne, Angel, god genes. Overall appearance - Very similar to the average human, minus pointy ears, and slightly more narrowed eye shape - Religion[very wip] - Elvien people are known to keep their hair decently long[For male and female alike], and it’s usually seen as a traitorist/rebelist thing to cut your hair short. They also sometimes do this as punishment to show that they no longer belong to the elvien society[just like cutting off the tips of the offender’s ears would]. - Language - WIP. Mostly died out. - Rules for royals - [redacted bc of wip]
