It was finally lunch and Sam sat with his friend group but then THAT kid walked over and sat next to Sam. For some reason, she thought that if Sam and her were in the same classes together, that meant they were friends. Sam didn't think this anyway. "Hey, Sam! That math quiz was pretty hard, right?" Macy began. Sam just stared at her and then noticed that his friend group was looking at him. "No-Ugh-" He turned, glaring. "What are you even here for anyway?" Macy gave a playful, confused look. "What do you mean, Sam? I wanted to sit with you!" Sam rolled his eyes. "No, no, no you don't. I don't want some damn furry to sit with me." Sam objected. Macy stood up and looked down at him. "You idiots are always the same. Too blind to see the difference. I thought you were better than your little, mean friend group, but I was wrong. You don't deserve my friendship anyway!" Macy narrowed her eyes and shoved Sam, almost making him lose his balance. And then she stormed out of the cafeteria. Sam scoffed. "Who does she think she is!?" He exclaimed. But something stirred inside him. It couldn't be guilt... Could it?
