do not read if you haven't played all cdc games, or gotten all 3 endings in the Hawthorne institute ↓ scroll So There are 3 endings in hawthorne institute that are focused on 3 different characters: Marble (end 1), Luna ( True end,) and asmoni. (end 3) end 1: I would say this is the 'normal' end, where not much lore is revealed. nothing else to say. (marble is friend <33) end 2: after we leave out the exit, luna follows us (riuh.) Thanks to my friend @drizzlinq-skies we know that she was already planning to leave at the same time as us to get Lilo. Or Lio. It appears as though we (Riuh and Luna) probably don't know that lilo became lio as well. Maybe Riuh does follow luna to the circus so to get Lilo, or maybe she doesn't. There is a chance that maybe she went back to the forest (their past home). End 3 (asmoni.) : This is the most confusing personally. After you enter the code and enter the tunnel, there is someone telling you, the player, NOT RIUH, to not enter the weird portal. We're told that this isn't the canon, and that we shouldn't. and then you get sucked into the tunnel, and once you come out, you're at a weird angle and you're green. You can't leave the files rooms, and if you try to exit the door, you're told that this is all that there is. The portal thingy is 'property of asmoni', so asmoni probably made that portal. Luna is gone. The text is green. We're told by asmoni that is isn't the truth, but he doesn't know if we can get back. We could try, though. If we restart after that, it often glitches, or there will be the message,"I told you so...", If you then click on the flower, the music for the prologue will start playing. It gets really laggy after that. You won't be able to play it after that. Usually if you reload / click out of it , it works again tho. another thing that pops after restarting is something along the lines of: "ttissdoor s occedd *i/n/l ookkdd fiid kky... ffnn ee..." "ttissdddrrrsssoooeeefffddd yyy" *this part was jumbled so i couldn't really read it. -"occedd" unjumbled would turn out to be "decoded". i sorta gave up on solving it. In the prologue of Hawthorne institute, we see Luna walking down the volunteer center. Then we also see Riuh alone in her dorm, so we can assume luna didn't come back up. What is the volunteer center anyway? why is it so creepy? My theory is that the volunteer centre is could be: - a place for storing files - a place used for asmoni and his lil vials. We do know that some who go down there do get back up, like Vekks. (he found a map when he was there.) and- how does astra put fire in a jar???????????? the code in the files rooms says: Needed: Fire, earth, water, mind. Usually mind would be replaced with air. In the big room, we can see the four jars. 3 of them are filled, but one is empty. It's pretty obvious that the empty one would contain a 'mind,' but whose mind do we need? another thing that i noticed was how one of the teacher almost called the students soldiers. Perhaps the Hawthorne institute is basically like a bootcamp, maybe. In the first area of the files rooms, there's a thingy that reads, "How to win a war with performers as soldiers." In a classroom, we learn that the Thorn Prince is an albino kudu (A type of antelope.) named Thiriq, aka the prince of entertainment. We know that riuh, luna, lio, thio (basically the characters we know from the circus) are all performers. That means that the students of hawthorn institute all do acting/entertainment/music of some sort. But how would that win a war? If the Hawthorne institute was built with the sole purpose of creating soldiers, than battle would've been anticipated. I think the Thorn Prince probably issued the place to be built. - who are they fighting? I think ive mentioned this before on my old acc, but the thorn prince might be igo. We're not told what animal igo is. Buuut it's probably not true since igo's from the circus. or not. We'll have to see. edit: From the thimble...? project, we know that we (Vekks) are from a band. And then of course, vekks moved to the hawthorne institute. and vekks seems to like riuh. i don't know. also tiny detail, in behind the dreams, after you click on lio's reflection a few times and it shows you the secret message, click on the plushy. it says "ugh."
