Play on Turbo Mode! (Shift + Green Flag) To listen a non-lousy performance, sit back and press Listen To conduct the Scratch Symphony Orchestra, click Conduct. You can choose to conduct with a baton, a candy cane, or a pencil. Wave it back and forth. You know when it works when the tempo changes on the metronome at the bottom left of the screen (if you're a lousy Scratch conductor). When you are ready, cue the orchestra and keep conducting after the music starts. Prepare for cacophony!
One of my favorite songs, "The Young Prince and the Young Princess" from Shehrezade was adapted into this project using sound blocks. Instruments featured: Violain, Cello, Clarinet, and Flute plus the invisible Bass, Bassoon, and Oboe. The Scratch Symphony Orchestra features five renowned Scratch characters: Pico, Gobo, Giga, Tera, and of course, the Scratch Cat (the lousy conductor).
