I've really been making too many games... Weirdly enough, the idea for this came from a game I'd thought of making, I was trying to make a realistic background for it (I mean, what kind of a person likes a plain ol' blue background?) and when the conventional way of creating a background (designing the actual sprite) didn't work, I thought I could use pen to create the smooth transitions, like from day to night because I didn't feel like creating 100 sprite costumes. That didn't work, but halfway I got the idea for this project. Just saying, I created this in approx. 10 minutes, so please report any bugs or things like that in the comments.
