Space or Click OH I SAY HELLO i got a bit into TLETC and its adaptations back in 2024 and always wanted to have my own version of the story, and here are my designs of the major vehicle cast and some of the rolling stock. I think the name "Tillie" fits the 1991 version of the Little Engine, "Tracy" fits the 2011 version too, however my Little Engine's name is Judy. She just looks like a Judy. She's a young Oil-burning enigne who has this childishly positive view on the world around her unlike most of her peers. Her biggest dream is to pull big important train to the other side of her village, because she's usually meant to keep the shunting yard tidy and deliver water tankers to the industrial plant. The Old engine's name is Cramps, because it rhymes with Gramps, and he's a single wheeler, just like the Crampton locomotives. He's too physically weak to pull any heavy freight, so his main job is taking the milk train, empty wagons, and pulling enthusiast passanger trains on occasions. The Big Red Engine is Audrey, she's the one Judy looks up to the most, because she's always far away delivering freight to very far places so it's always a treat whenever she's around in the yard for a night or two, just to leave the next morning. As someone who's very work-focused and always in a rush, she doesn't want to "waste time" on maintenace check-ups, which pays off in the end. She's also Married to Cramps. This Single ain't Single. The Yellow Streamlined engine is Alfonso. He just looks like an Alfonso. He takes big pride in his luxurious express services considering it the most important job out of all of them. The Brown Freight Diesel's name is Podrick. I designed him after European Bisons, in the Białowieża Forest all of their names start with the syllabe "Po", hence the name. Podrick is just happy to be here but due to being new and slightly faulty he tends to break pretty often so he perfers to not stretch his limits until his mechanism gets upgraded or improved. The Fireless Engine is an original character i don't have a name for yet. I wanted to give Judy an opposite character who doesn't want to go anywhere far, and even if he did, he wouldn't due to being fireless. He used to work at an amunition factory. I've decided to replace the Toy and Food train with a Circus Train, because if you think about it, even besides the clown, most of the toys in the more popular adaptations already behaved like a circus group. The town on the other side of the moutain went through a big flood during the past few months, so the circus group decided to put a show there to cheer the citizens up and deliver some much needed medicine too. Considering Judy's side tanks are pretty tiny, she decided to put an old oil tender that was rusting in the yard into use, hoping it's going to work...
