❥ Update 016. Welcoming Riot - I walked into the barn, quietly walking up to Riot. He noticed my presence and I backed up a little, not wanting to spook him. I stepped a little closer, but he just backed up in fear, and suddenly lunged and tried to nip me, and I quickly backed up. I decided to leave him alone for a bit and walked off. When I came back, he was still alert, so he heard me before I was even near him and quickly turned around. I cautiously walked to him, holding out an apple slice in my flat palm. He got fearful and backed up some more, so I just put it on his stall door. I left for a bit, watching from afar as he hesitantly took the apple slice. At first, he just held it in his mouth, suspicious of it.
