Won’t go on a whole emotional spiel about time and growth at the moment, I’ll save that for my birthday lol But SEVEN ENTIRE YEARS ON THIS SITE god yknow I told myself once I had other socials and all my close online friends from here had other socials, I’d leave!!! I said that like!! 3-4 years ago!!! Then I said I’d leave like almost 2 years ago!!! Still here still kicking lol Scratch is definitely not a priority anymore at least, I unbookmarked it from my phone and computer so I have to manually type in anything to go here Scratch was such a crucial part of my journey as an artist and writer, and it also started my interest in software and programming! Since joining scratch, I’ve been taking coding classes in school that use Python or Scratch at any chance I get (I’m in a Python class right now in my senior year that actually builds off the Python class I did last year) I don’t plan to take my programming or moderate tech knowledge into my career much, comics and selling Kandi eventually is the main dream right now ^^ Yall have been a huge part of my journey over the years, and I thank everyone who’s stuck around this long <333
Some things yall might be happy to know: (THERE IS A QUESTION FOR YALL AT THE END!!!) -Experimental Escape is still continuing its course to be a published comic, it’s still in production- or rather pre-production- it’s my magnum opus story, so I wanted to really put time into it. I’ve got some ref sheets to do and some lore writing I wanna do still, hoping to start working on the actual script and pages by the time I’m 19-20 (I’m almost 18 now for reference.) -The Approaching Darkness is getting a reboot- and probably will get a different name lol- it won’t be on scratch, and it will be written with a 13+ audience in mind like the rest of my work in recent years. It’s also gonna be un-warriors’d- I want to be able to write an original story with my own world rules and be able to publish whatever I write, the constraints of the warriors universe made me feel slightly trapped? so yea, I’m reworking everything, trying to change up as many universe rules as possible to make it as original as possible. But anyone who reads warrior cats will probably still raise an eyebrow like “hey is this author a warriors fan” LOL The tad reboot is still in VERY early pre-production and it’s not top priority right now by any means. The thing that ruined TAD back in the day for me was the pressure I’d placed upon myself to make the story. Word of advice? Make comics for YOU! I started comics with the intent to make people smile, and I still have that intent, but I grew to realize it was more fun when my main priority was ME enjoying myself. Create for your personal enjoyment, don’t let creation become a chore. Art is about expressing yourself, so express yourself!! Do art in a way that’s comforting and fun!! And never give up <3 Also WHO WOULD LIKE A RANT ON THE TAD REBOOT STUFF SO FAR AND MAYBE A PEAK AT REFERENCES
