Another year has passed. People are celebrating. 2016 is over. 29 people were killed in a shooting during a New Year's Party at a LGBT club. Another boat carrying 47 refugees sank on Christmas. Another shooting due to racial hate in New York. Two women were r_ped on Hanukkah because of their culture/religon. Four police officers were killed by a police hate shooting. A Japanese couple were shot on the anniversary of Pearl Harbor. The wide sustained serious injuries and the husband died trying to save his wife. More bombing because of no particular reason but hatred. A Chinatown was set on fire due to racial hate on the anniversary of the invasion of Peking. Much more incidents occurred. Will we respect all races? Will we respect all people of sexual orientation? Will we respect all genders? Will we respect someone's background? Will we respect someone's privacy? Will we respect someone's feelings? Will we respect someone's culture? Will we respect someone's governing system? Will we respect everyone? Not one country in the entire world has accomplished equality. Will we ever accomplish equality? Think about it. Let's make sure that in 2017, we get one step closer. Because even that's hard to do. #Equality2017
