Newt and Ducky's Ocs in my style!

Well, I wanted to do this project, so here we are. I asked the owners of the OCs if it was cool to make this and got a overwhelming yes from Newt, and Ducky's pretty chill with this stuff. I will go over what I changed here. Reix - I was by far the most excited to make him, due to the fact his design is kinda like Vees, a blank canvas ready to be painted on ( no offense Newt that was supposed to be a compliment ) so let's get into it!: - I gave him clothes because you know how I am with these. But I like the rolled up sleeves. - I gave him gradients on his speaker thingys on his face, his vest, and his pants because they are literally amazing here. - I gave him headphones even though he literally has no reason to wear them. But it adds that asthetic. - I gave him parts from his first design like the pattern on the hands and the speaker tail ( if he doesn't have that now). - I made his antannae smaller to balance out the headphones. This was by far my favorite design to make, I love the gradients, face, and the little details, 10/10. Yumi - This was also one of the OCs I was most excited to vectorize, so i'll get into it and not yap as long: - I made her head more detailed by adding ketchup, mustard, onions, pickles, cheese, and tomatoes because yes. -Gave her an apron to give that cafe employee vibe. - Changed up her outfit a bit, and also added a skirt. - Added the fire extinguisher on her back so she wouldn't just randomly pull it out of her ahh ;-; I am pretty happy with how she turned out, not as fun to make as Reix but i'm still happy with how she turned out. 8/10 Giko - I was also kinda excited to make him, but less so since animals are just harder to make. - Gave him clothes ( you would have never guessed that one!) - Added headphones so he'd match with the other DJ - Gave him the sick looking gecko Velcro on his hands ( since he's an non-insect animal, I changed his hands to Gecko hands just like I gave Cocoa and eclipse paws and Rudie hooves. ) - Gave him this cool looking arrow pattern on his sleeves, headphones, and hoodie. -Gave him the fat leopard gecko tail. - I made his eyes more gecko-like - He's the only animal character with shoes ( don't ask why ) I hit some bumps while making this cheeky reptile ( Loosing the glasses mold halfway through. ) But he turned out great imo. 8/10 Sunnie: The one that took the 2nd fastest, I finished him in like less than an hour, so lets get into what I changed: - I added more points to make him look like a sun ( he looks more like a star in his design, and I know the sun irl is a star, but a cartoon wouldn't do that. ) - I gave him shoes, pants, and an upgrade to his hoodie ( I added a lil sun on his hoodie.) - I gave him the black eyes with white pupils to make him match with his siblings ( I didn't give him four arms though bc it would ruin his silhoette. - I kept that bracelet that he has, it's a little hard to see tho. - I gave him a stupid ahh grin to show exactly who he is. The double sun issue: Yes, there are two suns. In my head sunnie would represent a midday sun due to the brighter colors and no split face and Helia would represent a dawn/dusk sun due to the softer colors and split face. Sunnie took a relatively quick time to make, but he turned out fine imo. 7/10 Battie: This one I was, less excited to do, so I'll just explain what I changed: - Glasses to protect her eyes in bright places since bats have pretty sensitive eyes. - Amber eyes with slightly slit pupils bc yes. - Gave her a proper outfit with a skirt and hoodie. - Little fangs underneath the snout for destroying insects. Battie turned out fine imo, nothing else I wanna say except the wings were pretty annoying. 7/10 Sketch - I have nothing to say so I'll just get to the changes.: - I gave them a proper outfit with an apron. - The apron has markers to draw their face. - Extra faces to make them pop. - Bandana bc yes. Overall, Sketch has the least I have to say about him. 7/10 Cameron - He was probably the OC I changed the most from his source so I'll cut to the chase here.: - Completely darkened and toned down all his colors bc ( no offense Ducky ) I absolutely dispise the colors chosen for him, the light blue doesn't work well with the purple and green imo. So I made it easier on the eyes. - Shiny red button for photo snapping. - Gave him an actual outfit including a nice belt. - I made his lens circular instead of square. - I did keep his eye color ( same goes for ducky's other OCs. ) I personally like this one because it was the one I changed the most, I like the easier colors and changes I made. 8/10 I'll explain the changes for the rest in the comments bc scratch can't have a longer desc.
