ok so let me start off with saying i haven’t read michael’s response for myself i’ve only read it through screenshots i’m gonna try my very best to cover what it said but feel free to correct/add more to this in the comments so basically the allegations are true michael also tells us that he’s been diagnosed with autism (im skipping over paragraph 1 so scratch dont get me) he also says that he flew out to peoples town’s to go apologize to them and that he’s in therapy now (again feel free to add and correct this)
onto my take i personally don’t like this to much i will say he did apologize to people but i wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t forgive him (imagine your boss for a few years who cyberbullied you shows up to your door and apologizes) i think it’s an odd approach (no pun intended) since everything he’s said (at least on the accs) was online so i feel like it would’ve made more sense if he apologized online to these people but thats just my opinion the second thing that really bothers me is michael talking about his diagnosis with autism i personally think this post would be the same if not BETTER if he didn’t mention this i know how this sounds let me explain michael didn’t give a clear correlation or reason for him to be mentioning his diagnosis which makes it seem like a way of him trying to justify his actions (at least to me if you guys have an idea of why this was mentioned tell me!! i’d love to hear it!) it’s also almost laughable that he’s part of a group of people that he was making fun of overall this is an interesting apology i’ll give it that but what i think its missing (emphasis on I) is a clear reason on why michael did this in the first place other than saying it was irresponsible of him which is something i think most people wanted which makes it seem (at least in my eyes) that he knew this was wrong the whole time didn’t care and did it for fun anyways overall its a meh apology for me
