Hi, it's Hatako again. This morning, I opened Scratch to check my messages. I thought this account had been banned because it was linked to the same email address used to verify another account of mine that *was* banned. I believe the way Scratch handles bans works like this: (main account banned => alt account—even with a different verification email—banned => alt account sharing a verification email with that second alt account also banned). Before creating this account, I filed an appeal which was unsuccessful but Alex gave me permission to create a new one. The crucial issue now is which email to use for verification, because Scratch's moderation system is incredibly complex and confusing. I’ve heard there are many types of bans, but I don't know which one applies to me. Oh, Scratch... please just get rid of that nonsense. Honestly, I don't want to leave Scratch yet. But if this bizarre situation keeps dragging on month after month, year after year, I will definitely leave for good. For now, I need to get to the very root of the problem and try to gather the most accurate information possible regarding my account ban. I came up with a smarter approach: using a platform similar to Scratch to create animations and then uploading them to various platforms (including Scratch itself). This ensures my projects are safely stored and won't be lost—after all, my main regret was losing the projects in the first place.
