Hello!! This weekend I went to a con with my lovely neighbor, @-KatCloudzz- :) Go check out her out! Anyways, I have some pictures and short comics I’ve collected from cosplaying, so I decided to make this to share them! I will be telling my experiences and stories as I go, but just for a slight summary: I have been cosplaying for about a year now, and it began when my friend told me that they had an extra ticket and asked if I wanted to come along. So I did, and it was such an amazing experience <3 That was FanExpo Boston in 2025, then I attended that again this year in 2026 with that same friend. This weekend, I went to GraniteCon with my neighbor, and it was a blast :3 Now I’ll get to the pictures :D 1 . Title slide Not much to be said 2 . A little comic about how I got my first trinket from a cosplayer on my first day at a con!! They were cosplaying Viktor from Arcane and gave me a badge ribbon. I treasure it to this day <3 I didn’t cosplay the first day at that con, but I was Sabine Wren from Star Wars the next two days 3 . Mini comic about how I got mistaken for Gojo by a Gojo cosplayer when I was cosplaying as Qifrey the second time I went to FanExpo I mean I didn’t have my cloak on so the confusion was warranted lol 4 . I gave put gay erasure paper slips when I was cosplaying as Qifrey If you know, you know 5 . Someone was cosplaying as the Glow Cloud (All Hail) from Welcome to Night Vale 6 . Homestar runner puppet!! 7 . Brushbuddy cult… there was a Witch Hat meetup which was amazing :0 There were 10 Qifreys lmao 8 . My Wirt cosplay from the first day! 9 . A trans Brushbuddy tricker I was given as a trinket my another Qifrey cosplayer! 10 . Stickerssss I love all the silly Witch Hat ones 11 . We struck The Pose (TM) 12 . Olruggio and Qifrey print!! Aaa this makes me very sad :’D 13 . Witch Hat Atelier print!! 14 . Qifrey print!! With foil :00 I think it’s going to be very funny whenever I go to college and decorate my dorm. My roommate will just see these guys and be very confused 15 . My full Qifrey Cosplay!! This is at GraniteCon I made everything myself :) Except like the wig 16 . My stickers post-GraniteCon!! I have no idea where my posture check Olly one went :’D I really need to find that one I mainly just bought stickers at one stall, as there was a really nice vendor who was selling Arcane and The Magnus Archives ones!! We talked for a bit, and they gave me a free Malevolent lighter one because I recognized it in exchange for a memory erasure slip :D 17 . My little Witch Hat shrine… I own all the books, but some are scattered about lol Does anyone know what loss is?? Because it’s like a toss up. At a camp I did, one of the adults recognized it from one of my friends and I drawing it on the board She described it as the sad rickroll :’D 18-19 . Signed Lemon Demon cassette!! 20 . Photo with Neil Cicierega! He seemed really nice, and I was really shocked to find that he would be at the con :O It’s pretty cool to be able to actually meet a guest that I actually know! And to be honest, it’s thanks to Scratch that I do :’D 21 . CDsssss Needlejuice records were there, and I first found them two years ago when I was looking for tapes of my favorite artists! I didn’t buy anything, as it was online and I didn’t want to explain my music taste to my parents :’D But it was really awesome to be able to pick up physical copies of songs that I love!! 22 . Bracelet gift from a con attendee!! 23 . Worm from a Jane Prentiss cosplayer I talked to! They were really nice, and I had talked to their friend earlier which was a pretty silly coincidence 24 . Brushbuddy trinket!! 25 . I may have run into a person wearing a Mechanisms t-shirt. It was really awesome, and they seemed kinda surprised and very happy that someone had recognized it I was also very happy to spot a Mechanisms fan out in the wild :D Anyways, that’s it for this time! May do this again if I end up going to another con before college rolls around. Maybe Conneticon in July :0 Also I do want to wrap this up by saying that cosplaying is an absolutely amazing hobby, and that they people who do it are some of the nicest and sweetest people I have ever met. I have received so many little trinkets and compliments, and doled out those same trinkets and compliments to others! Talking with people who have the same niche interests (or at least niche in terms of being around people at school) has been kinda wild for me. I’m able to open up to people and sustain longer conversations that I get more joy and happiness from, rather than a 10 minute talk about school or the weather. It’s also just really nice to know you aren’t alone in the world, and I think going to cons confirms that more for me than anything else <3 So yeah, I highly recommend going to a con near you Trust me, you won’t regret it Song - Crushed Out on Soda Beach by The Scary Jokes Also happy birthday Olruggio from Witch Hat Atelier
